On October 6, the City of Carson hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the reopening of the 189th Street Pedestrian Bridge. Several elected officials, including Mayor Lula Davis-Holmes, were in attendance to mark the occasion. Using funds from a few different sources, including the city’s Utility User’s Tax, the bridge was upgraded with a number of safety improvements.
